is an Indiana-based ceramic artist and educator.
In my professional life, I am a graduate student and instructor at Indiana University in Bloomington, working on my Masters of Fine Arts in Ceramics. I have a passion for arts education, especially as it relates to community service and development. My work with a non profit arts organization, a juvenile detention center, and state children’s services have taught me that the arts are valuable to people from all walks of life and levels of ability. I love teaching classes and workshops and so far have taught in various locations including Missouri, Kentucky, Indiana, and Las Vegas. I have also worked as a studio assistant at Arrowmont and Penland schools, was a Summer 2016 Artist in Residence at Watershed Center for the Arts in Newcastle, Maine, and a panel moderator at the 2016 NCECA Conference in Kansas City, Missouri. I exhibit and sell my work through gallery shows, both local and national.
